Wona is an advertising technology company built to provide efficient media inventory trade between publishers and agencies. We are an innovative and fast growing ad tech company based in Victoria Island, Lagos. And we are currently looking for a seasoned and self-motivated Account Sales Executive to join our team.

Position Summary

The Account Sales Executive is responsible for generating new accounts, maintaining deep and long-term client relationships, and overseeing sales with key business executives and stakeholders.

The position requires a commitment to satisfying customers’ needs and requests, responding to their queries in a timely manner and aspiring to deliver an overall positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

o   Ability to establish and cultivate new relationships, and bring existing relationships to the role

o   Develop positive relationships with clients

o   Act as a point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs

o   Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product

o   Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

o   Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

o   Assist C-level managers with daily activities to ensure sales growth

o   Report on the status of accounts and transactions

o   Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives

o   Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

o   Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

o   Work with the sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships

o   Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions per customer needs and objectives

o   Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel and PowerPoint in particular)

o   Liaise between the customer and internal teams

Requirements

o   Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive

o   Must have at least one year of industry experience in one of the following areas: broadcast (media) advertising (media buying & planning), digital media sales, technology sales or programmatic advertising

o   Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

o   Understanding of sales performance metrics

o   Excellent communication and negotiation skills

o   An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

o   Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

o   Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

o   Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity

o   Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

o   Understanding of marketing, measurement and analytics, digital marketing and internet technology is a plus

o   BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
